The shoot at the weekend is probably one of the best shoot I have had this year. The location was Fantastic the Model (Tille) was absolutely Amazing. The weather was really good although down at the waterfall with the rushing water and the shade from the sun it was pretty chilly. This did not phase Tille one little bit and she threw herself into the shoot with so much enthusiasm that is was virtually impossible to take a bad shot and although at time she was freezing cold, soaking wet and filthy dirty after a warm up a clean down and some refreshments she was ready and raring to go again. I had set myself my own challenges for the shoot firstly I had decided that I was going to do the whole shoot with just natural light and work with what mother nature had provided us with, so No portable light, No fill in flash after all Mother Nature had just provided me with a picturesque location and a beautiful all natural woman, so who am I to interfere with perfection.

I had also decided that I was going to try and challenge myself and Tillie to produce some results that were not the normal expected nude location shots. Tillie jumped at the chance and threw herself wholeheartedly into the shoot putting her own ideas and suggestions into the mix and we both had a fantastic shoot. The final challenge has now proved to be easier than I originally anticipated in that my intention was not to use photo shop to edit the images except for processing and branding etc. Personally looking at the shots in camera very little needs doing as Tille is exceptional at what she does and hair and make up were just right the location itself was so beautiful that it is mother natures very own photo shop.

So onto the Dilemma:

Looking through the 300 + images taken in camera there is only about half dozen that are not useable, “Poorly Lit” “Distraction in Foreground / Background” etc. So the Dilemma is how am I going to select just a few of the shots to include in my portfolio I could literally fill several with just shots of Tille from this one shoot. Obviously this is a Dilemma I am delighted to have and although I have more shot of Tillie than you can shake a stick at I will certainly be shooting with her as much as possible as she has inspired me to continue to challenge myself and to also provide her with some unique images for her own portfolio.

I will be posting some of the shots from the shoot here once I have finished all my head scratching, but in the meantime the shot above is the very first shot from the shoot and was only the test shot, but might just give you a good idea of my wonderful Dilemma given that test shots are exactly that a test and are never usually images you can use.
